F.A.Q

Q  If I have a bells only system, will the police attend if my alarm goes off.
A Unfortunately no, it is currently police policy only to attend to monitored alarm systems, unless there is actual evidence that a crime is in progress

Q  If I have a monitored alarm, what happens if I set the alarm off by mistake
A.    When triggered, your alarm signals to an alarm receiving centre, who will call you at home to verify the signal is genuine, they will ask you a unique password that you would have previously set up with your installing company.  If you get it wrong, they will alert the police

Q    Can I set my alarm at night
A    Yes your alarm can be programmed by the engineers so you can part set at the push of a button, for example you can set just the downstairs at night, leaving the upstairs free for you to walk around

Q    What happens if I get a power cut, will my alarm go wrong
A    No your alarm will have a battery backup to take over the system in the event of a power failure, this will keep the system stable for at least 8 hours, but usually much longer
